The Seven-Fold Tie, Explained

A seven-fold tie is one uncut square of silk folded upon itself seven times: no interlining, nothing but cloth and geometry. It knots like a scarf and recovers like a spring.

Naples still folds them the old way, by hand, in rooms smaller than your closet.
