Trading from the same shopfront at 52 Old Compton Street since 1887, Algerian Coffee Stores has kept its original nineteenth-century counter, shelving and fascia through two World Wars and a century and a half of change in Soho. Now run by the third generation of the same family, it roasts coffee twice weekly on site and sells single-origin beans, house blends and specialty teas to retail and wholesale customers.
