Busho Kiriko

Busho is a Kagoshima glass atelier producing Satsuma kiriko, the cut-glass technique introduced to the region roughly 150 years ago through Western glassmaking methods. The studio cuts wine glasses, sake vessels, and tea-ceremony implements to order, and runs summer workshops teaching visitors the cutting technique.
