Canterbury Pottery
38a Burgate, Canterbury
Canterbury Pottery has thrown high-fired stoneware at 38a Burgate, in the shadow of the cathedral, since Betty Chapman founded it in 1963, with her son Richard developing the studio's deep library of glazes over decades. The workshop behind the shop makes mugs, jugs, bowls, garden pots and ecclesiastical pieces, each finished by hand.
