Carolyn's Sakonnet Vineyard
Little Compton, RI
Established in 1975 on 150 acres between two tidal waterways, this is New England's oldest vineyard, still farming 30 acres of vines and barrel-aging its wines in French, Hungarian, Russian, and American oak. Winemaker Elaine Phipps has run production since 2005, and the estate operates its own tasting room, shop, and event calendar in Little Compton.
