Cassia Co-op

This farmer cooperative works directly with smallholder cinnamon growers in the Kerinci highlands, training them in sustainable harvesting and bark-peeling methods for Koerintji cassia, the deep, oily cinnamon variety the region is known for. Its training centre also functions as a working school, shortening the chain between mountain farmers and the buyers who use their bark and leaf oil.
