Cetawico (Central Tanzania Wine Company)

Engineer Fiorenzo Chesini and the Fondazione San Zeno revived an abandoned mission vineyard experiment in Hombolo village in 2004, opening the cellar in a refurbished grain store the following year. It farms Teroldego and Marzemino alongside Aglianico, Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc at 1,100 metres, producing organic wines as a combined commercial and social enterprise.
