Chak-Chak Museum & Shop
Paris Commune St. 18A, Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia
Founded in 2014 by Dmitry and Raushania Polosin inside a recreated 19th-century Tatar merchant house, the museum leads visitors through a barefoot tour of hospitality customs before a tea service built around the honeyed pastry that gives the place its name. Its ground-floor shop sells chak-chak and other Tatar sweets alongside souvenirs that have won a national tourism competition.
