Cotnari

Cotnari has pressed wine from vineyards north of Iași since the estate was first recorded by royal decree in 1448, making it the reference name for grasă, tămâioasă and frâncușă grapes across Moldavia. The winery runs its own cellar tours and shop out of the historic Cotnari commune, about forty kilometers from Iași.
