De La Gente

De La Gente works directly with smallholder coffee cooperatives in the villages surrounding Antigua, most centrally the growers of San Miguel Escobar, buying cherry at above-market rates and returning visitors to the farms themselves for picking-to-roasting tours. The nonprofit-linked model channels tour and retail-bag revenue back into the partner cooperatives rather than through a conventional export middleman.
