Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue

Russ Fiorella started Jack Stack as a five-item storefront in 1957, and the business has passed through four generations of the family since, including a Martin City branch his son Jack split off in 1974. It now runs what it calls the largest hickory-wood-fired cookery in the country, smoking beef short ribs and burnt ends over that same fuel.
