Started in 1931 when William Lichty partnered with his grandfather William Hammond, this bakery still hand-rolls Pennsylvania Dutch-style hard pretzels at its original Lancaster location. It bills itself as the oldest continuously family-operated hand-made pretzel bakery in America, now run by the third and fourth generations.
