Haramo Wine

Haramo Wine grew out of a 1924 cooperative winery in Katsunuma village and became a private company in 1973, taking its name from a family tradition of successive generations using the given name Moemon. It uses only Koshu grapes grown within the Katsunuma region alongside Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah from its own 1.7-hectare vineyard, producing 6,000 to 7,000 cases a year for tasting in a preserved traditional building.
