Indigo Cat
039A Fansipan Street, Sapa, Lào Cai Province, Vietnam
Opened in 2012 on Fansipan Street, this was the first Hmong family-owned boutique in Sapa, selling batik and indigo-dyed textiles, bags, and home pieces made with Hmong, Dao, and Tày artisans from surrounding villages. The shop runs its own natural-dyeing workshop and six guest rooms furnished with its own textiles, keeping production and sale of the goods under one roof.
