Iriomote Green Farm

Iriomote Green Farm makes small-batch handmade kokuto from its own cane during the November-to-May harvest season and grows several pineapple varieties for the following summer, working out of the Ohara settlement on Iriomote Island. The farm also runs Inoshigari-ya, an izakaya on the same site, and sells its seasonal produce directly rather than through outside distributors.
