Jacob Rieger built the largest mail-order whiskey house in the country from Kansas City before Prohibition shut it down in 1919; his great-great-great-grandson Andy Rieger and bartender Ryan Maybee revived the label in 2014. The distillery now makes whiskey and gin in the historic Electric Park District, with tours, tastings, and an outdoor bar on site.
