This Bagbazar sweet house traces its lineage to Nobin Chandra Das, credited with inventing the spongy rosogolla in the 1860s, and the family later pioneered canning the syrup-soaked sweet for long-distance travel. The shop still centers its counter on rosogolla, sponge rosogolla, and rajbhog alongside other milk-based Bengali sweets.
