Opened in 2012 after its founders lobbied to change local law, this was the first legally licensed rum distillery to operate in Key West, housed in a 1900 building that spent decades as a Coca-Cola bottling plant. The distillery makes small-batch, salt-cured rums on-site and sells them alongside rum cakes and pepper sauces in its retail shop.
