KPD Honey has worked with Sabah's forest beekeepers since 1991, processing Apis dorsata, Apis cerana, and stingless-bee kelulut honey at facilities in Kota Marudu and Sikuati, Kudat. The company also runs the Borneo Honey Bee Centre, an apiary and training ground open to visitors from Kota Kinabalu.
