Katsunuma, Koshu, Yamanashi
Kurambon has made wine in Katsunuma since Chosaku Nozawa founded it in 1913, becoming an independent company in 1962 and adopting its current name in 2014, and has farmed without chemical sprays or insecticides since 2007. The winery ferments its Koshu and Muscat Bailey A grapes with indigenous yeasts and minimal filtration to keep the fruit's natural acidity and citrus notes.
