Kurashiki Hampu

This canvas maker grew out of Kojima's Meiji-era sailcloth industry and still weaves grade-one cotton duck in the same district that supplies denim to the rest of Japan. Bags, aprons, and stationery are cut and sewn from the house canvas under its own factory-brand labels.
