Lahore Carpet Manufacturing Co. traces back to a nineteenth-century family carpet-trading business and was formally established in 1949 by Sheikh Ahmed Hassan, one of four brothers who inherited the trade. Now run by a fourth generation, the firm still produces its rugs under one roof, blending traditional and contemporary designs.
