Operating from the same Blue Parkway storefront since 1986, LC's smokes ribs and burnt ends in an open pit visible from the dining room and bottles its own award-winning sauce and seasoning for takeaway. The no-frills counter service and thick, sweet sauce have kept it on Kansas City barbecue trails for close to four decades.
