Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment
Seminole Drive, Huntsville, Alabama
Lowe Mill opened as a cotton textile mill in 1901 and later made combat boots as a Genesco shoe factory through 1978, before entrepreneur Jim Hudson converted the building into an arts center in 2001. The renovated mill now holds 153 studios and more than 200 working artists, with a maker-focused online store and food and drink vendors on site.
