Mayser

Founded in Ulm in 1800 by Leonhard Mayser, the hat maker moved its headquarters and design studio to Lindenberg im Allgäu, the Bavarian town whose felt and straw hat industry it helped build alongside dozens of other 19th-century hatters. The line still runs from classic felt hats and straw panamas to caps and beanies, carrying forward a firm that once turned out 3.5 million hats a year at its Lindenberg works.
