Mè Xửng Thiên Hương
20 Chi Lăng, Gia Hội, Hue
Thiên Hương has made mè xửng sesame candy from the same Gia Hội street address since 1940, running the chewy, crispy, and "mirror" (gương) versions alongside peanut, black-sesame, and betel candies from recipes passed within one family. It calls itself the oldest surviving candy house of the old imperial capital, and its factory storefront still doubles as the retail shop.
Best for — Traditional Hue sesame candy (mè xửng) straight from an 80-plus-year family maker
