Minzifa Suzani

Grown out of a boutique hotel opened in 2003 on Eshoni Pir Street, Minzifa sells hand-stitched suzani embroidery worked by artisans in Bukhara and its surrounding villages. Silk thread on cotton and velvet becomes cushion covers, runners, caftans and ikat pieces, several finished with crochet edging alongside the traditional needlework.
