Nila House
C-Scheme, Prithviraj Road
Founded by Carole Bamford in 2016 and opened to the public in 2019 at C-86 Prithviraj Road, Nila House works to revive natural indigo dyeing (nila means indigo in Hindi) alongside handloom weaving, block printing, and embroidery through its retail shop, workshops, and exhibitions. The nonprofit pairs rural artisan clusters with design support to replace synthetic dye processes with plant-, mineral-, and food-waste-based alternatives.
