Pracownia bro.Kat, founded more than a decade ago in Katowice's Załęże district, sets real coal into silver for cufflinks, rings, and earrings, a nod to Silesia's old nickname for the mineral, "black gold." Bogna Polańska and her partner Roma run the studio from Gliwicka 188/3, a few blocks from the district's former mine workings.
