Prestat
Piccadilly, London
Founded in 1902 by master chocolatier Antoine Dufour, Prestat lays claim to originating the chocolate truffle and held two Royal Warrants from the Queen Mother, in 1975 and 1999. Roald Dahl gave the brand a cameo in his novel My Uncle Oswald, and its truffles are still sold from a small shop in Piccadilly's Princes Arcade.
