Ram Gopal Blue Pottery

Shilp Guru Gopal Saini, a 2009 National Award winner named a Master Craftsman in 2016, shapes quartz-frit dough into the cobalt-and-white pottery synonymous with Jaipur from his studio in Sanganer. His daughter Garima now paints and designs alongside him, adding contemporary forms to florals and geometric motifs on vases, tiles, and tableware rooted in the Persian-derived craft.
