Rehwa Society is a non-profit weavers' cooperative founded in Maheshwar in 1979 by Richard and Sally Holkar to keep the town's handloom Maheshwari sarees and dupattas in production after industrial cloth had undercut local weavers. It still trains weavers and sells its handwoven cotton-silk textiles from its Maheshwar workshop.
