Rochelt

Günter Rochelt began distilling fruit brandy from his garage in Fritzens, a short drive from Innsbruck, in the 1970s, using far more fruit per bottle than standard schnapps production allows. His family still runs the distillery today, hand-selecting Gravenstein apples, Williams pears and wild berries for spirits finished with wax-dipped stoppers.
