Sin Yoon Loong (My Cofé)

Sin Yoon Loong opened as a coffee shop in 1937 and is widely credited with originating Ipoh white coffee, beans roasted with margarine and palm oil instead of caramel to soften the brew. The family now bottles that formula as 2-in-1, 3-in-1 and Black-O blends under the My Cofé label, sold beyond the original Old Town shopfront.
