Siroperie Charlier has cooked apple and pear syrup over wood fire in Henri-Chapelle since 1940, a method the family has now run for three generations in the Pays de Herve. The siroperie sources most of its fruit from local producers, keeping the syrup rooted in the same Vervietois terroir it has always drawn from.
