Susumuya opened its first Chiran tea shop in Kagoshima in November 2012 and has since added stores in Tokyo's Jiyugaoka and a Kagoshima shopping center. The shop sells single-origin Chiran sencha and related sweets, and runs its own tea school to teach proper brewing.
