Tacama
La Tinguiña, Ica (near Huacachina)
Francisco de Carabantes planted vines on this estate outside Ica in the 1540s, making Tacama's vineyard the oldest in South America and the source of cuttings that later seeded viticulture in Chile and Argentina. Its Tambo de Tacama complex, a short drive from the Huacachina dunes, pairs the original hacienda and underground cellars with a restaurant, and sells pisco and wine along with bookable tastings through its own site.
