Four generations of mother-to-daughter hand embroidery on Hanoi's silk street since 1969 — begun with wartime handkerchiefs stitched with love words for soldiers, now a 1,000 m² design house at 61 Hang Gai whose double-sided silk needlework is gifted to visiting royalty.
