Philip Benoit has hand-crafted chocolates at Tartufo on Louis Melsensstraat 14, near Leuven's train station, for roughly 25 years, building the shop's reputation on fresh-butter pralines and truffles rather than mass production. The workshop offers 56 praline varieties and 12 types of truffle, with gift boxes running from five to sixty euros for customers who stop in to pick a personal favorite.
