Xie Yuda traces its trade to 1875, when Xie Zheng'an first fired and rolled the silver-tipped leaves that became known as Huangshan Maofeng. Six generations later the company still processes Maofeng, Taiping Houkui and Keemun black tea from gardens in the mountains around Huangshan.
