Marukyu Koyamaen

Marukyu Koyamaen has grown and stone-milled matcha in Uji since around 1726, supplying ceremonial and culinary grades to tea schools and confectioners. Its Nishinotoin shop in central Kyoto sells the same lineup and includes a small teahouse, Motoan, for drinking matcha made from the mill's own stock.
