Eudon Choi is a London-based womenswear label known for tailoring that blends masculine cut with feminine sensibility. Collections span coats, dresses, tailored trousers, and knitwear sold direct at eudonchoi.com.
Best for Tailored contemporary womenswear by Eudon Choi
Eudon Choi is the eponymous womenswear label of the London-based, Korean-born designer, launched in 2009. Choi began his career designing menswear before turning that vocabulary — structured cuts, utilitarian details, vintage referencing — into ready-to-wear for women, a fusion that remains the label's signature: masculine tailoring softened by a feminine sensibility, expressed across coats, dresses, tailored trousers and knitwear. The approach earned early industry recognition, including the Fashion Scout Merit Award and the Elle Talent Launch Pad award in 2012. In 2017 the label expanded its reach with a collaboration for John Lewis, placing it alongside contemporaries such as Palmer//Harding in the department store's push toward emerging British design talent. The house remains a small independent operation — roughly five staff — run from Studio 7 in the Rose Lipman Building on De Beauvoir Road, London N1, a shared creative workspace rather than a public-facing shop. Eudon Choi has no standalone retail store of its own; the collections are sold through wholesale concessions at Fenwick, Harvey Nichols and John Lewis, through the independent boutique Salt, and direct via eudonchoi.com, which ships to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United States and Canada.

Ghost London launched four decades ago and makes women's contemporary clothing with a vintage feel. Its viscose fabrics are woven exclusively for the label, and its prints are designed in-house each season. Almost every garment is garment dyed, cut oversize in greige cloth and boiled so it shrinks and takes a deeper colour. The finished pieces can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
Best for Garment-dyed viscose dresses and separates with a vintage feel
Ghost London launched four decades ago and now works as an established house for women's contemporary clothing. Its collections keep a contemporary vintage feel, with feminine lines and modern silhouettes alongside signature garment dyed pieces. Every fabric is produced and woven exclusively for the label from viscose yarns, and every print is designed in-house each season in the same vintage-inspired spirit. The garment dye process defines the house. Each piece is first constructed in raw greige cloth and cut several sizes larger than its finished size. The made-up garment is then boiled at high temperature, shrinking as it takes the dye, which gives the viscose a softer, more fluid hand and a deeper colour than piece dyeing. The same process makes the clothes practical to own. Almost every garment, bridal wear included, can be machine washed at 30 degrees or washed by hand, then reshaped while damp and steamed on the reverse if needed. The range runs from tea dresses and slip dresses to separates and knitwear, together with a wedding collection that includes bridesmaid dresses, all sold from the label's own online shop.

London womenswear brand founded 2015 by Andrew Xeni, backed by New Look founder Tom Singh; B-Corp certified, known for printed midi dresses made in zero-waste capsule collections.
Best for Trendy, Sustainable
Nobody's Child was founded in London in 2015 by Andrew Xeni, aiming to make stylish, affordably priced womenswear produced more responsibly than typical high-street fashion. The business drew early backing from Tom Singh, founder of New Look, and grew through a direct-to-consumer model alongside concessions with ASOS, John Lewis, Selfridges and others.
The brand's structural distinction is its zero-waste capsule production model: rather than running large speculative print runs, Nobody's Child produces smaller, more considered batches to reduce leftover stock and textile waste. It is B-Corp certified, a third-party verification of its social and environmental practices, and organizes its public commitments around four pillars it calls People, Planet, Product and Progress.
Its most recognizable product line is printed dresses — florals, ginghams and polka dots across mini, midi and maxi lengths — which anchor the brand's identity more than any single signature style.

Founded in London in 2009, THE OUTNET is an active online retailer specializing in discounted past-season designer fashion, including clothing, dresses, shoes, bags and accessories from international labels. THE OUTNET launched in London in 2009 as a sister site to NET-A-PORTER, created by the same team to sell past-season womenswear and menswear from established designers at a discount. It originally drew its stock from NET-A-PORTER's own unsold inventory, though in more recent years the majority of merchandise has been sourced directly from brands rather than passed down from its sister site. THE OUTNET operated for over a decade as part of what became the YOOX NET-A-PORTER Group, later restructured under the holding company LuxExperience. In October 2025, LuxExperience agreed to sell the assets powering THE OUTNET - including its brand rights, customer data, inventory and US distribution center - to The O Group, an investment group backed by Joseph Edery and Ritesh Punjabi; the sale, valued at roughly $30 million, closed in April 2026.
