What Coco de Mer Collection is known for
Coco de Mer Collection processes coco de mer nuts, which fall naturally from wild trees after 6-9 years, at a factory built in 2000 on former colonial plantation land in the Domaine de Val des Pres craft village in Au Cap, Mahe, Seychelles, on the site of a 1920s cinnamon kiln. It sells whole nuts and bowls priced $250-$750, plus processed kernels and, through a sister company, perfumes and cosmetics made from the husks.
