Coopémiel de Bourbon

Réunion's only beekeeping cooperative, founded in 1967, gathers some thirty apiarists and up to fifty tonnes of honey a year. The jars run from creamy lychee to spiced baie-rose and dark forest honey — varietals that exist nowhere off this island.
