What D'Ambra Vini d'Ischia is known for
D'Ambra has grown Biancolella and Forastera on Ischia's volcanic slopes since 1888, moving from bulk wine trading under founder Don Ciccio to estate-bottled DOC wines. The fourth generation of the family now runs the Forio winery, including the single-vineyard Frassitelli Biancolella grown on hand-cut terraces.
