Mónico Galaviz founded El Malcreado in 2000 to build vaquero boots on traditional lasts such as the Bulldog, Dubai and Chihuahua, using exotic skins like crocodile, python and stingray alongside standard cattle hide. A quarter-century on, the León workshop still pairs each boot with matching belts, hats and cleaning kits.
