What EMENTA SB is known for
Portuguese skate-and-streetwear label founded 2006 by four friends in Amadora; launched its clothing brand in 2012, added its own skateboards in 2014, and now runs three Lisbon stores (LX Factory, Cais do Sodre, Chiado), all with garments made in Portugal.
Ementa SB began in 2006 in Amadora, on Lisbon's edge, when four skateboarding friends started making videos and small merchandise for their local scene. The clothing brand was formally launched in 2012, built around handmade designs and collaborations with local skate retailers. In 2014 Ementa expanded from apparel into its own skateboards and accessories, completing the shift from a skate crew's side project into a full skatewear label. Production stays domestic: garments are made in factories in northern Portugal, a point the brand markets as '100% Made in Portugal.' Ementa has opened a run of Lisbon storefronts as the label grew - first in LX Factory (2021), then Cais do Sodre (2022), and a larger store in Chiado - alongside distribution into other European markets including Italy.
