Garbaty Knives

Garbaty Knives began in 2012 when Jakub "Kuba" Szydłowski made his first knife in his father's carpentry workshop. The hobby grew into a dedicated brand based in Gdynia, on Poland's Baltic coast, run today with his wife Magda, who the site says handles the business's "stage and backstage" — marketing and accounting — while Kuba works the bench.

Each knife is cut from sheet steel, ground, heat-treated, fitted with a wood, G10, or kydex handle, and paired with a hand-sewn leather sheath.
