The last working remnant of C.R. Ashbee's Guild of Handicraft, Hart has hammered domestic, ecclesiastical, and civic silver in the Old Silk Mill on Sheep Street since George Hart took over the workshop in 1912. Four generations on, David, William, and Julian Hart still raise bespoke pieces by hand, from thimbles to full tea services.
