What Ikuntji Artists is known for
Ikuntji Artists Aboriginal Corporation, nestled in the West Macdonnell Ranges at Haasts Bluff, has operated continuously since 1992 among 150 Luritja speakers and was the first art centre established by women in the Western Desert Art Movement. Artists including Mitjili Napurrula and Keturah Zimran OAM work across paintings, screen-printed fabrics, wearable art, jewellery and printed editions.
